Hello,

I saved a table created in excel in a web page using the
Save As Web Page. I'm using excel 2000. If I make any
changes in the excel spreadsheet table, will it update
automatically in the web page?

Thanks,
Sheela

Sheela,

No, you will have to "save as web page" again.

Or you could just try it and find out.

Regards,
Kevin

I don't recall about XL00, but in MacXL, in the Save As Web Page
dialog, click Automate, and select the "Every time this workbook is
saved" (or "According to a set schedule") radio button under "Save a
copy of the workbook xxx.xls as a web page named xxx.htm"

The web page will be saved in the same directory the .xls file is
in, so you may need to automate publishing it to a server (I do it
with Applescript).

Well, this version also had Save As Web Page. It should by
right update the web page but its not working.

Sheela

Sheela,

I have XL 2000, and I don't see <<click Automate, and select the "Every time
this workbook is
saved" (or "According to a set schedule") radio button under "Save a
copy of the workbook xxx.xls as a web page named xxx.htm">>

I might be looking in the wrong location, but I don't see the "automate"
feature when I invoke the Save As Webpage. I also tried tools | web options
on the Save As Webpage.

So please verify that I am missing the "Automate button" referred to by J.E.
McGimpsey. Otherwise, our version does not allow this feature.

Regards,
Kevin
