I used Excel 1 month ago, and when I tried to access it tonight, the program
needs to be "installed." I have my Microsoft Office XP Professional 2002, and
my Microsoft Office XP 2002 Service Pack 1 disks. Is first says "please wait
while Microsoft configures Microsoft Office XP Professional." Then it pops up
with "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable
disk that is not available." It then says to put the disk in and click OK.
When I do it basically says that disk is wrong.
My computer is fully updated, and has virus and spyware detection/removal
software. Is there a way to use the Office XP Professional CD to just
reinstall Excel? Is there another way to bring back my Excel? Do I have to
uninstall Office XP Professional and then reinstall it? Any help is
appreciated!
