Excel Taskbar Logo And Filename

C

Celtic_Avenger

Hi peeps...

Here's one for you excel boffins out there.

When I am running Excel, I obviously have the program shown in th
Windows Taskbar.

This allways says........"Microsoft Excel - FileName"

Is there a way to change what this says.

For example I would love to remove the Excel Logo, and replace it wit
an Icon I have created, and also remove the words Microsoft Excel, an
leave only the Filename showing.

Is this possible???????

Thanks for any help you can give.

Application.Caption = "Your Caption" 'changes before the dash.
Application.Caption = "" 'shows nothing before the dash
ActiveWindow.Caption = "Your Caption After Dash" 'changes after the dash
ActiveWindow.Caption = "" 'shows nothing after the dash

Must be in the workbook_open code because it doesn't stick between sessions.

Experiment until you get what you want.

As far as getting rid of the Excel Icon.........I don't know of a method.

Perhaps someone else will jump in.
