Excel (Source Doc) to Word (Linked file)

I have given every cell in Excel a range name. When
these are paste linked as a rich text format item, the
cell reference (e.g., R10 C 3) shows up as the link in
the Word document rather than the range name.

How do I solve this problem?

You can't force Excel to use the range name via copy/paste.
You'd need to edit the LINK field code after it's been
generated (Alt+F9 to toggle the field codes).
