Excel sheet with 2005 calendar w/automatic tabulation of entries

We are building a physician call schedule. We would like to be able to
tabulate the number of times a physician appears in a given cell by month
w/totals for the year, Weekends and weekdays differentiated. Is there a way
to have 3 cells (hospitals) within each date? Suggestions?

If you're just trying to build the physical appearance of the table, put the date in
a cell, skip two cells to the right, and put the next date in the third cell. Put
the three hospital names in the cells under the date plus two blanks. Select the
date plus tow blanks, press Ctrl+1 to format, and on the Alignment tab, for
Horizontal, select Center Across Selection.
