Excel screen shots

i want to do a power point presentation that show some tricks and tips for
beginning Excel users. i have tried taking screen shots of Excel, pasting
them into a wordpad document and then bringing that into power P. but it is
time consuming and i don't like the way it looks. an suggestions?

If you were presenting about dogs - what do you think would impress them
more: Bringing a live dog into the classroom - or showing them a
presentation full of photos of dogs?

Do the same with Excel: Show them the real program, and - if possible - have
them use it themselves.

If you need to provide screenshots for a booklet, I'm with John: Use SnagIt.
It allows you to take screenshots AND to edit them.

I'm in complete agreement with Ute. If you are trying to show people how to
use Excel then *use Excel*! It also means you will be able to answer
questions...
