Hi.
I have a small Excel 2002 s.s built in Xp Pro. I use on a pda, running Windows mobile 5.1, to record data, each worksheet has an ID based on a number and the date. I may have as many as 10 in a day. I would like to get Excel to use the ID and the number as the file name when saving, in a similar manner to the way Word will use the first words on the first page when first saving. I can place the ID any where on the page except in the header/ footer.
How can I do this ?
I have tried copying the ID and pasting it into the “save as” file name slot but it won’t paste.
Regards Rob Hale.
