Excel not working

When I try to pull up Excel, I'm getting a message the
Windows XP Office frontpage is trying to install and aske
for a disk that I do not have

The program needs a file on the disc used to install
Excel. You need the disc. That's my take anyways.

I'm not sure what FrontPage has to do with this .... might be an
erroneous error message.

Depending on how you installed Excel, some components aren't installed
initially and are then intalled on demand when you need them. Maybe
this is what's happening. I guess I'd go ahead and provide Excel the
Office disk and see if it clears the problem.
