Excel not seeing cell value?

Hi all,

Currently keeping a spreadsheet of player names and points here

On the AsEndNov09 Tab

At the bottom of the sheet on row 375 I have highlighted a problem.
CELL J375 is returning the correct value which I can see.

But this is NOT being included in any SUM action and seems to be invisible
to excel.
This has resulted in an incorrect total in column L.
It is showing as 0 when it should be 59.
I know it has to do with the player name and the minus signs.

Anyone come across this and have a workaround?

Or am I just being thick in general??? LOL

The number of points in column E on sheet November for the entry
of --s1mm0-- is formatted as text, (Cell E89).
Convert to a number and it works fine.

Knew I was just being thick!

Can't believe I never thought to check that.
Don't know how that happened.
