excel in vista

I did a clean install to vista on one partition. I saved some information on
the storage partition in excel 2003. If I install office 2007 will I be able
to extract the info from the storage into office 2007

Yes, Office 2007 should be backward compatible with Office 97-2003. Just be
careful when you save your files that you save them in the Office 97-2003
format (.xls) instead of what may be the default (.xslx) 2007 format if you
want others to be able to view them.
