Michel

I am an assistant accountant I would like to become an expert on excel
programming. Is there anyone who can help me to achieve my dream, so that I
can help others to be more efficient in excel programming and give my
knowledge to others who really deserve in the performance of their duty. Thks

That's a tall order... and it depends somewhat on your existing programming
experience with other programming languages. There are several books out in
the marketplace covering various levels of programming from absolute
beginner to outright professional, so one or more of them might get you
started. There are also some websites offering both free and for-cost online
tutorials that you may want to Google for as well. In my experience, the
best way to become proficient with a programming language (after getting the
basics of the programming language down first, that is... syntax,
programming concepts such as assignments, decisions, looping and so on) is
to sit down and write programs... and the more mistakes you make while
writing these beginning attempts, the better. Just sitting down and trying
to figure out why what you thought would work but didn’t will go a long way
in helping you to write similar code next time.

Hi Rick

Thanks for your help and advise, can you give me the site so that I can
place an order for the books and also websites connections where I can have
free and the cost online tutuorials. If possible your email address so that I
can contact you for future advise. Thks for your support

I don't have any specific sites in mind for either of those. My suggestion
for books would be to go to your local bookstore and see what is available.
As for online tutorials, I would suggest you use Google with this search
string...

and then visit the various links that Google returns. As for future
questions, my suggestion is to post them here in the newsgroups... there are
many more qualified volunteers here than I for these type of questions... I
just happened to be online when you asked your question.
