excel funtion

I am new at this, I have the following confusing there is this funtion _PMT
that i know its payment, and the formula i do not understant what it means:
PMT(D412,E4,-c4) what is it looking for, what is it about . could u help me.

As Rob pointed out, those are Excel cell references. This newsgroup is
dedicated to Access, not Excel, and while that Excel function could
conceiveably be used by setting a reference to Excel in code, I'd think that
you'd rather either be in Excel, or using the Pmt() function in Access:

Pmt(rate, nper, pv[, fv[, type]])

Both Excel and Access have Help files, which explain the meaning and
parameters of functions.
