I started to create a graph in MS Excel. I have the version Microsoft Office
XP Standard for Students and Teachers. While trying to create a chart, I had
some of my values set as fractions. I ran in to problems when I noticed that
I could not format the fractions with no more than three digits. As I
understand that fractions go up to 100%, the work I am doing requires larger
fractions.
I was attempting to chart an experiment which deals with radioactive decay
(half-life). While trying to provide a visual representation, I was
attempting to input 1/1024 (previous value in the previous cell being 1/512).
Unfortunately, there was no setting which allows either larger numbers or a
customization of the value.
