Excel formulas + subtraction of days

R

Rusty

I need the formula to subtract a number of days from a specific date.

For example: June 14, 2009 (E2) and I need to subtract 197 days (F2) from
that June 14, 2009 date with the answer in G2. The answer in G2 with need to
be in the formant of February 1, 2009 (this date is just a example).

Thank You

It's just a simple subtraction, as long as the values are date values and not
entered as text:

=E2-F2

Then format the result cell using the date format of your choice.
