Excel files do not open from a WEB page

A WEB page has results in excel file, you clik for the results, get the
message done but all i get is a blank page...
 
Do you have Excel or Excel Viewer installed?
Is it a particular one or all that you try on any WEB page?
Perhaps there is a problem on their end?

Hi,
I have Excel installed and all sites that require excel files to open
have the same problem. I have no error message but a blank page...

You aren't really giving much information to let people help are you?
Does your copy of excel have a version number? What version are the files
saved in?
Not all versions support all file versions although the file extender is the
same- for example Excel 97 will not open Excel XP files- and that is only
one example of this.

And another secret- you haven't said if the files open for other people.
Perhaps it happens to other people or everyone? Keeping the web site a
secret means that I can't tell you it doesn't work for me either. Or that it
does.

I have Excel 2000, and the files do open elsewhere. i do not know what
else I should tell you...

elsewhere? read the last post again. You still aren't telling....
1 piece of a jigsaw is not enough to see what the whole picture is.
