How can I get excel data in powerpoint to copy onto more
than one slide? I copy and paste and it shows a portion
of data in one slide and need it in multiple slides so it
can be presented.

Hi Francisco,
You have to split your excel sheet into multiple sheets or copy/paste a cell
range per powerpoint slide.
Or you can try this addon www.take-off.as/datapoint
It links your presentation to an excel document (or database) while the
formatting is done in powerpoint.
If it's a one-time-only operation you can best choose for option a.

Instead of copying and pasting Excel cells into your PowerPoint presentation
why not just make an Action Button that when clicked on opens your Excel
file. That way you can scroll around, discuss what you want, close Excel
with the top right "X" and you are back to your presentation in Slide Show
Mode ready to move on. Place any image on your slide, right-click, select
"Action Settings", click the "Hyperlink to" dropdown and select "Other
file", browse to and select your Excel file (this usually works better if
you first make sure your Excel file is in the same folder as your PowerPoint
file - that way if you need to move your files to another computer, it will
still link properly). Finally click the "Highlight click" check box at the
bottom left, then click "OK".

Try it out!

[CRITICAL UPDATE - If you are using Office 2003, you should install this
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello Francisco,

PowerPoint does not provide that level of integration with other Office
applications. To get that kind of integration you would have to write your
own solution (e.g. VBA) or find some 3rd party solution already developed.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) thinks that is important for
PowerPoint to provide better (or any) support for support for consuming,
viewing and/or interacting with data and documents from other Office
applications (without having to resort to VBA or add-ins), don't forget to
send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
