Excel cell like behavior

I would like to create a text box on a form that would allow me to type in a mathmatical expresion that would be evaluated and have the result displayed (and yes the text box would be tied to a numeric column in a table). Such that if I type in =22/7 and hit the return key 3.14 would be displayed and saved

I suppose I could create a macro that would launch the calculator, but I would really like an embeded Excel cell

Ah! I love it when someone wants to try and commit spreadsheet against an
Access database..... NOT.

Perhaps if you express your intent for wanting this capability we can come
up with a better solution. Generally, calculated field results are not
stored permanently in a database, as over time data can change, which
changes the results of the calculated field. Why do you have to store the
info?
