Does anybody know of a useful book on Excel which can be purchased in the
UK? I am looking for a book which would help me with the different
functions, as well as highlighting what Excel can actually do for me? I
don't want something to basic, however not something too advanced!

Any advice?
 
John Walkenbach's Bible series would be my advice given your text. They cover
all the versions, so you can find the one you want for your needs. Starts from
Basics and wlks you through to Advanced, so you have plenty of scope and plenty
to read. Try Amazon for a good price.

You'll find that most will be obtainable in the UK and if you can't
find them, then Amazon do a very fast service. Also search on Amazon
because you'll get good descriptions, reviews and ratings.
