Excel AutoComplete not working properly

Hello, first I'd like to say that the Office 2007 Suite is just excellent,
but I found a little problem with the Excel 2007. The AutoComplete for cell
values does not work properly. For example, if I type "Hello" in cell A1,
then the AutoComplete works ONLY for cell A2, but not for any other cell. I
checked this a number of times with a number of Excel files and it is always
the same, the AutoComplete works only for the cell directly beneath the one I
want to copy. Thank you for your time.
