Auto filter is gryed out as well as sort, group etc. File
name has [Group] after it. can anyone tell me how to
remove this [Group] status so that the database facilities
are returned to norm.

Many thanks

Hi

Group indicates that more than one sheet is selected. Any changes you make
will affect all selected sheets - so be careful. To exit the Group mode,
right-click on a grouped sheet and select Ungroup. Or you can click on a
sheet that is not in the group.

Andy.

Thanks Andy but it has not worked. I right clicked but the
Group tab did not appear. I have got the worksheet linked
into a word document. Can this be the problem?

Sorry. You need to right-click on the tab of a grouped sheet, not the sheet
itself.
