Don't know about Excel 2003, but Office(Excel) 2002 runs under Windows 98 and
98SE.

Excel 2003 requires Windows XP. Excel XP and all earlier will run fine on Win98. I think
that only the newest version of everything is available from authorized MS dealers, so
perhaps you must buy some secondhand product. Go for version 2000 if so; no product
activation in that one.

I run Office 2000 on Win98 and Win2000 with no problems. Search the
internet - some vendor is sure to have some copies left that they are
clearing out. (Make sure it is an official copy!!)

Office 2003 requires Win2000 or XP (I haven't tried to install it on
Win98). If you buy WinXP, I recommend spending the extra money on the
Pro version.

Maybe someone else here is running 2002 or 2003 on Win98 and will
reply - stay tuned.

What is the latest excel version for Win98se ? Is it still available?
Thanks.
