Excel Analyzing

When I try to analyze (convert) my report to Excel, the screen messages with
"now outputting page of ..." but it never comes up in Excel. If I want to
"publish" it in Word, no problems. How do I get a visible, workable report
in Access so I can work with the data?
 
In 2007 the feature to export a report to excel is gone.

You can export the query to excel though.

To clarify, this is Access 2003; I appreciate the 2007 comments, though.
Still curious as to why MS would leave off this valuable and relatable (to
other MS programs) feature...seems like it's missed.

Any other ideas for 2003?

They lost the lawsuit which is why you must export through the query in
Access 2007. You stated you have Access 2003, I imagine you have Excel
2003. Not sure why it's not working, did you try to repair Access?
