excel 97 und novell 4.11 - doppelte Öffnung von Dateien

Habe Ein Problem mit Novell Client 4.83 SP1, Win2K und Excel 97, wenn
Dateien von enem Novell 4.11-Server geöffmet werden, die nicht der
8.3-Konvention entsprechen. Sie werden einmal als "Dateinamelang.xls" und
einmal als "DATEINAM.XLS" geöffnet. Wie kann man das abstellen ???
