I installed Excel 2007 on my home computer, but at work we use Excel 2003.
I believe it is 2003, since I can't confirm from home. Does anyone know if
I can work with my Excel 2003 files at home in Excel 2007 and continue to
save them as Excel 2003 files. I was hoping they wouldn't have any effect
on these files when I take them back to work and save them. Again I think
the version at work is 2003 or maybe 2005, if there was a 2005 version.

It shouldn't be a problem as long as you do NOT introduce 2007 features that
are NOT available in the earlier version.

Thanks to both of you for your help and advice. I saw that you can save it
as Excel 1997 -2003. I just didn't want to waste time on the weekend to
find out Monday the file is messed up. I may adjust a few macros.
Hopefully there is nothing new in the 2007 excel macros.

I am working on an Excel 2007 file. As some of my teammate only work on Excel
2003, I would save a file at excel 2003. However, the file size increases
from 3mb (when it is 2007) to 21 mb when saved as 2003.
What's wrong with the file?
