Hi, It looks I did something wrong with Excel (Win XP) and made paste function or the enter key behave differently. Previously, when I paste the text in the cell choosing “paste values” option, it simply copy and pasted the value. Now it pastes the format (like the filled-color of the original cell) as I hit the enter key. If I use the arrow key, the format won’t be pasted (just the value).I have the same result when I paste by Ctrl-v. In this case, I can manage with the “paste option” by choosing “matching the destination formatting.”
I am not sure if this is caused by the glitch with the “paste” function or the enter key… In any case, I suspected Excel has corrupted, and re-installed Office software - with no avail.
Can anyone help me to solve this issue?
