Excel 2007 hangs after deleting rows

I have a spreadsheet with about 20000 rows, filtered to show about 18000
rows. When I select the rows and delete them, they are deleted but then Excel
hangs. If I select the cells only, not the complete row, Excel only gives me
the option to delete the entire row.

I too am having the same issue. We have about 150,000 lines of data and we
can select the data in increments and delete it, but if we select all the
entire column, Excel hangs. We have noticed that if you select the entire
column, but the header (which is a filter) and even press any key on the
keyboard that Excel freezes. We have reinstalled the entire Office 2007
Suite.

My issue is on a Macro-enabled .xlsm file that is shared on a network, but
two other network computers are able to select and delete the data with
absolutely no problem or delay. Out settings and options are both the same
as they were installed with the same image.

Let me know if you find a solution. Dell is not able to troubleshoot
because it is beyond their scope of support.
