I use a customized toolbar in Excel 2000. I have assigned macors to these
customized buttons. I have just started using Excel 2003 and cannot figure
out how to make it so a macro is usable in every workbook. In 2000, I set
up a startup file .xla in the xcel\stratup directory. Is there a similar
way to do thi in 2003. I have several unique macros that I use and have
obtained from this Excel user groups.

Also is there an easy way to copy over all the commands and macros?

Thanks for your help

Craig,
You can create a "Personal Macro Workbook" that loads every time with Excel.
Go to: Tools > Macros > Record New Macro
In the drop down menu select: Personal Macro Workbook
This action, creates a Personal Macro Workbook that loads every time,
henceforth.
You can then access it via ALT + F11 and copy and paste all your favourite
macro procedures, and assign them to a buttons on your toolbar.
Hope this helps.

The xla should work the same way. What do you get?
