for some days now, on startup, Excel opens 10-15 of my xls files ... how is this happening, and how can I stop the proecess
C Chip Pearson Mar 24, 2006 #2 Excel will open all files in the XLStart folder. Search for this folder and remove the items in it. Also, go to the Tools menu, choose Options, then the General tab.
