I have the data source and a pivot table on 1 sheet of a workbook. When I
saved the file, I noticed in the folder that a separate folder was created
which contains HTML files, a cachedata xml and a filelist xml document and a
stylesheet document. When I email the original .xls file the user can't open
it. The error states 'Problem During Load" and then lists the HTML files are
missing.

When you go to save it, make sure when you select File>Save as... That the
'File of Type' is set to 'Excel Workbook'. It sounds like you are saving as
a web page

You were right. I just assumed the default save was a Workbook, I usually
don't look at the type.
Thanks ;-)
