Have Excel 2003 SP1 on a new Athlon. When I call up Excel 2003, I am not
getting one of the toolbars - and I don't even know IF it is a toolbar - it
probably is known by some other name. At work I have this "toolbar" and on
this, my home system, it's absent. This toolbar I am referring to should
appear just below the main menu bar that contains the standard commands like
<File><Edit><View><Insert> etc. etc. Based on what I see at work, this
missing element stretches across the top margin and should have a field for
displaying the active cell. Next to it should be the field in which you
build formulas/functions. Again, this feature is missing/absent. I've
right clicked up on the menu bar to see if it's one of those recallable
toolbars but it isn't.
What is that object I'm looking for called so I can search the help file to
see how to install it? Or if someone knows how to kick it in, I'd like to
know.
Thanks.
