Hi,

Is it possible to create another tab when opening General Templates? What I
see is a General Tab and Spreedsheet Solutions. I like to create another
Tab and start storing my templates their. Is that possible? Using XP Pro

One possible way:

You need to find your Office Templates folder and create a New Folder in it
If you don't know where to find it, one easy way to create the Folder:
Open the Save As dialog
Change the Save As Type to Template
Hit the New Folder Button on the Toolbar (or Right-click in the white space)
Name the Folder
Hit Cancel or Save depending on whether or not you actually want to save the
current file as a template.

Thanks for the info tj. I did find the Office templates folder, well the
one that presently stores my templates on the General Folder Tab. There is
no Folder named General and no folder named Spreedsheet Solutions. I
created a folder called My Templates in C:\Documents and
Settings\Mark\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\

Nothing... Maybe this is the wrong place???

No, that looks right.
You might try creating the folder from the Excel Save As Dialog instead from
Windows (you should be able to do it either way, though), if you didn't on
the first try.

Simply open a Blank File
Go to Save As
Change the Save As Type to Template
Hit the New Folder Button
Name the Folder
Click Okay to Return to the Save As Box
Click Cancel

I just tried it using Excel 2003 on XP Pro, and it worked on my computer. It
is possible, at least.

Mark;
Sounds right, but you'll have to put a template in the folder before the
tab shows up. At least that's my experience w/Wd&Xl2k.
BTW, to find out where your templates etc. are located open Word,
"Tools->Options->File Locations"
Select the group you want ("User Templates", for ex). You may have to
click the "Modify" button to be able to see the whole name.
Again, this is 2k.
