in excel 2002
what is the limit on data that can be put in a cell?
What is the limit on the data that can be seen in a cell?
What is the limit on the data that can be printed in a cell?

i can enter lots of data in a cell, but onlu see some of it.

thanks in advance

Hi
for an overview of Excel's specification have a look at Excel's help.
Search for 'Excel specifications'. In your case:
- maximum of 32767 characters
- maximum of 1024 characters are displayed in a cell, all are displayed
in the formula bar

XL's Help/Specifications list the followig limits:

Length of cell contents (text) 32,767 characters (only 1,024 display
in a cell; all 32,767 display in the formula bar.

Only those visible will print.

You can add manual linefeeds (alt-enter) in the first 1024 characters to
display more than 1024 characters in a cell.

thanks for the help
