[Excel 2000] Saving to .csv

If I save an Excel document as .csv (either MS-DOS format or just csv
format), the output is between quotes.
Example "my_name;myadress;myplace" Can you pls tell me how to get rid of
these quotes?

Set your list separator in Windows/ Regional Settings to comma rather than
semi-colon, then it won't need to put quotes round the string which includes
semi-colons.
