I discovered an interesting problem. After some research
I found out what causes Excel to disappear in a flash.
Take anywhere in the spreadsheet (just not the first row)
a couple of cells in one column and merges them to one cel.
The go to the cell above the merged block and format it so
that the test is under a 60% angle
Please text in the merged cell and in the angled cell.
Right-click on the angled cell, menu option Insert, then
select 'Shift Cells Down'.
Excel disappears. Any documents opened (changed or not)
closed immediately without save. All this happens in a
blink of an eye. If you check the Task Manager, Excel is
gone.
Have not tried this on any other version of Excel.
