Excel 2000 - bug with copy & paste?

Simon

I currently have an excel worksheet with two separate
charts which are updated daily to generate some stats.

I have recently formatted the charts to have rounded
corners (right click on chart and choose 'format chart
area' > 'patterns' > check 'rounded corners').

When I format just one of these charts in this way and
with it highlighted use the copy command (ctrl 'c') when
the image is pasted all is fine. However if both of my
charts are formatted in this way and both selected at the
same time, click first chart then proceed to click second
chart with shift depressed, and then use the copy command
once again, it copies the charts but with normal corners,
i.e. not rounded.

Does anyone have any ideas why this may be, is it a bug
in the software?

My thanks in advance.

No idea, but if it's a problem when cutting and pasting, it sounds like
you'll be doing it often. Why cut & paste them more than once or twice?
Won't they be living in the worksheet?

they are copied together becase they make up a sigle GIF
image for use on the WWW, and due to it being a daily
process they are done together to save time ;)
