Hi

I have made some sheets with formulas in it
started those on my home pc with windows millenium..

Copy them to Laptop with XP on it..
Both PC have same version of EXCEL 2000..

But my formulas need instead of ( : ) a ( ; ) on my win-XP..
All formulas have (, ) in them to work well on my Millenium..

Most people on forum gave nice formulas but i have to change the (:) o
(,) and replace by (;) on XP to have the same working..

Does this mean that EXCEL 2000 does not work properly on XP ??
further it works, but if it works like it must i don't know

What could this be ?
What is a correct good working Excel for XP...

Greetings
C-ya till my next questions ...:confused

Hi Wraith!

You need to make changes to the Regional Settings on your laptop to
correspond with those on your home PC.

With Excel closed (not compulsory but still advised).
With both computers:

Use Start > Settings > Control Panel > Regional Options
Now go through the options and make sure that they are the same.
Make sure you press Apply

Instructions on route vary a little with Windows XP.
