Hi,
Another problem today.. sigh
The first partition (OS) of my development system is protected by EWF.
I've been using this setup for over a year now, but all of a sudden
ewfmgr gives me ths weird error:
c:\ewfmgr
Failed opening the target device \\?\storage#volume1&30a96559.... with
error 5. Access is denied
When I execute:
c:\ewfmgr c:
It gives me:
Failed opening the target device \\.\c: with error 5
Access is denied.
Now when I look at fbalog.txt everything seems fine when creating the
EWF partition.
If my memory serves me well the last things I changed since the most
recent working image:
- added: User Locales (Dutch, French...)
- added: International Control Panel
- changed: System Cloning Tool changed to execute during FBA phase 0
- changed: EWF start enable = false
I already wiped out my entire working HDD with KillDisk and started
all over from scratch, but the result is the same.
Any help would be great,
Thanks in advance,
JB
