ewf RAM reg failures

I have a CF disk configured with two partitions; C: and D:. The C: drive is
protected using ewfmgr in RAM reg mode. Even with this protection enabled, we
are seeing the CF gets corrupted and cannot boot succesfully. What is going
wrong here? Are there known hot fixes to this issue? I am using EXP SP1. We
tend to do a lot of remote logins to the machine and run applications that do
update the registry. Would that cause problems? I thought the C: volume would
be protected against any sudden loss of power.

What are the sypmtoms and what is the test case scenerio you follow to repro the issue?
At what stage of the boot it starts faling? Do you use any data from D: drive during the boot process?

Do you commit your changes at any point?

If we perform a chkdsk on the CF when this occurs, often the problem is some
corrupted link to a file in C:\windows\system32\software.log or some such
file. We do not access data on the D: drive. We do not commit changes. What
do you mean by this?
