EWF mode Which one can be used .....?

Hello All,
Its a huge confusion for me regarding EWF Modes.
1) I am using a DOM (transend) which is detected as fixed media, or can say
it is not detected as Removable Media as most of the CF's do.
So which mode I can use for EWF. for fixed media type of device.
Can i use any of the three modes for this can.
Because somewhere I had read that For Fixed media I can use only either Disk
Mode or RAM Mode and for removable MEdia CF's I can use only RAM-REG mode
please suggest.
 
I was trying to use all three modes, i got proper success in using EWF
RAM/DIsk mode.
But the EWF RAM-REG Mode is not configuring on it, while the same EWF
RAM-REG is configured properly on a removable media CF.
Plz suggest, it was this propblem which make me ask this
