Is the evolution of Internet Explorer :

Internet Explorer 6 then Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (SP 1)

i.e. Does IE6 SP1 supercede IE6 ???
 
SP means Service Pack which will correct some problems with the original
setup.
