evidence nuker is it a legit program?

I have a friend who just bought his first computer.
He is driving me nuts with his questions. Anyway he downloads
a program called Evidence Nuker and I want to know if it is a legit program
I never heard of it.
I went to the site but it looks kind of pushy to me so I am suspicious.

I never heard of it either but I'm not impressed by their web site.

Spybot Search & Destroy, <http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html> has a
secure shredder included in the advanced tools. This would be my
choice if I were worried about leaving tracks.
