Suddenly, text that is formatted in Bold shows up as Bold
Italics. This happens on my AOL new mail screen, on
Google, in Internet Explorer and even in Macromedia
Dreamweaver MX, which makes web designing very difficult!

I have tried the Tools, Internet Tools, Accessibility and
I am not using a style sheet. Also, Tools, Internet
Tools, Fonts has Times New Roman and Courier New
selected. On the desktop, Properties, Appearance, Fonts,
Advanced--everything seems to be okay.

I don't know what happened to change this, System Restore
did not help, I can't find anything helpful on the
internet or in the MS knowledge base, and I have no clue
what to do. Any suggestions?

Thanks, Terrie

I think it's something to do with the profile.
Login in safemode both as your regular ID and as administrator.
Does it occur in both places?

I logged in as both administrator and my regular ID, and
the italics do show up in both places. What does this
mean?

Thanks again,
Terrie

Terrie, the only thing I'm inferring from that is that it's
probably not related to your profile. Not a big help, sorry.
Try changing themes, see if that fixes it.
