One thing that I would check would be to make sure that
the FSMO Role of PDC Emulator is up and available. You
can do this a number of ways. Install the Support TOols
from the WIN2000 SP3 CD and take your pick: from a command
prompt run 'netdom query fsmo' or use REPLMON. You can
also run some 'nltest /' switches.
Also, are you using UPN SUFfixes? DO a search atthe MS
Knowledge Base (
http://support.microsoft.com )
with "Change password" with "exact phrase" as the search
parameter. There are several articles that could be of
assistance.
BTW - when setting permissions ( on a shared folder, for
example ) in the Object Picker the Everyone Group does
indeed show up, correct?
