Every time I open PowerPoint, I get a "set profile first" error

PowerPoint (Office 2003) was working fine. Then I replaced a 40GB hard drive
with a 300GB drive and installed a new copy of Windows XP Pro. After I
reinstalled Office, I get this stupid message -- it comes up for every single
presentation I open.

Do you have any add-ins installed?

Wow, not a clue. I've never seen anything like that. And I can't find
anything online, either. Is that the exact phrase shown in the message box?

I posted the exact message (screen dump) at
http://www.heavenr.com/test/set.jpg -- sadly, it does not have a dialog ID or
any sort of tracking indice. Thanks for following up.

There is nothing in the program help or online about this frustrating dialog.

Sounds as though you have I-One's color mathing software installed.
Try setting a profile as it's asking you to do.

Steve,

I could kiss you! I've been digging through everything I know about
PowerPoint, trying to fathom the error. You solved it in 20 words. My
daughter does, indeed, have the I-One software installed -- she's a
second-year photography student at the Art Institute of Seattle ... went
cookoo about having a great big 300GB drive available for Photoshop ... and
you guessed the rest.

Thanks ever so much.
Michael

A kind of educated guess. I had a hand in writing the add-in. ,-)

Glad that was the answer!

Michael,

There's a first. Absolutely top bloke but I wouldn't kiss him, personally!

ROFL!

So is it a PPT add-in specifically, or is it a program that has a PPT add-in
option (like Adobe Acrobat)?

I need to figure out a better way to ask about add-ins, because that was my
first thought, but original poster Michael said no add-ins -- or at least I
thought that's what he was saying (although when I re-read the response, I
see that wasn't really the case).
