every time i click on a trnslation or an effect the programmm just goes off

Hello there,

It sounds as though you have the classic "Codec" problem. A possible
solution is on my web site for free download called "Rename Codecs" Take a
quick look at the tutorial on this program (also on my website) It is not
always the solution, but from your description it sounds as though it has a
good chance.
