Every e-mail in my inbox has a duplicate

I just purchased a new computer with Vista Home Premium software. I get a
duplicate with each incoming e-mail. Out going e-mail is fine. Looking for
help.

McAfee does not play nice with Windows Mail and with any other email client. I would suggest that you remove McAfee as fast as you can and use something like Avast or AVG which are free.

Meanwhile disable you incoming and outgoing email scanning, it does nothing but give problems as you have found out. When installing any AV do not enable the email scanning feature.Rout resident AV will still protect you

Beside that, McAfee and Norton are not compatible with Windows Mail and
should be uninstalled.
