Evertime I Choose Effects, WMM exits out!!!!

does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix this problem and what causes it? thanks

I solved this problem by removing the DivXAF.ax file from my winnt\system32
folder. This is a file that fixes the Divx freeze problem.

I hope this helps.

I can't use the program. Its too unstable. My OS is WinXP pro, with 2ghz clock & 1gb RAM.
 
same same problem, Ive reinstalled this a million times and same problem over and over, any time you add effects or transitions it shutdowns, otherwise you can do everything else just fine, ive looked for patches and what not and cant find any solution at all. if you find an answer email me at (e-mail address removed) thanks
