Hadn't seen this program. This is currently in beta release (free),
however the website and program look 'too slick' for it to stay that way.
It has a very commercial look to it. I poked around and confirmed my
suspicions:

EverNote is currently available in a free beta for Windows 2000/XP/XP
Tablet PC Edition.
A *commercial launch* of EverNote with device synchronization over the
Internet and support for PDAs and smartphones is planned for 2Q2005, with a
number of additional features. Other OS and hardware platform support is
scheduled for 2005.

Although it looks promising and I want to try it, I don't figure on getting
hooked and dependent on a notes program that I will have to pay for down
the line.
