ever wondered mcdonalds recepies??

A lot of these were closely guarded secrets untill a couple years ago.
I have a good friend that is fairly high up in the industry for the UK and was absolutely furious that these had been released onto the net. A massive enquiry was started to find out how they had been released. Needless to say they never found out.

After reading all those instructions for the recipe I was tired out, and just sent out for a mcdonalds its far easier that way and quicker...:D

I've been trying my hardest not to eat at such fast food restaurants. In fact I could now be described as a battery vegetarian. Its horrible how they manufacture meat, and then market it with good ol' Americanism. I'd be pretty sure that 90% of McDonalds customers would stop going there if they knew how the produce was 'farmed'.

Have you ever grilled a burger @ home, that taste like that stuff ??????????

Of course not, why would you want the recipe......

I remember my kids loved the Big Mac, go figure

Ground beef
(may contain other animal parts such as:
heart
lungs
liver
spleen
kidney
brain
eyeball
bladder
hooves)
Salt
Pepper
A large helping of msg or anything similar to make your kids go hyper
Some round green thingie that looks like a bogey
Red sauce with lots of sugar
Reconstituted stuff that once was onion
A generous helping of various bodily fluids kindly donated by MacDonalds kitchen staff

There, there ya go, that be what they make the burgers from at the Charlton branch :D

Yum :)

Yeah maybe there foods iffy, but guess what ??
:) They do ace toys..

WAAAAAAAAAAooo

I quite like fast food as a one-off thing, probably have a McDonalds/KFC/Burger King about 5 times a year if I'm getting a train somewhere or traveling and need a quick bite to eat. I can't argue that they aren't tasty, they just aren't healthy :D

Dude McDona;ds cows are free range, and killed like any other cow you buy.

Which is probably why they don't sell veal-burgers, so they can boast free range.

Are any cows (apart from bullocks for veal) not free range? I only ever seen cows in fields.

And yes, they are killed just like any other cow you buy/eat, which is why I veer towards veggie.

Unless they Halal, of course, ever seen one of them being slaughtered? Great fun, buckets of blood but they don't make black sausage with it, as far as I know ;)

I swear if most people had to slaughter/gut/cut up their own meat from a live animal, they'd go veggie overnight, lol

But no, it comes in a neat little polystyrene tray with a recipe idea.

Cute :)

I dislike McDonalds more as a matter of health and politics than ethics over their beef. They aren't so particularly bad for cows - it's the way they manufacture chicken that I don't like. Besides, what a supermarket or fast food chain can label as 'free-range' doesn't particularly constitute what IS necessarily free-range in the eyes of the public. I think generally what most people would envision as being free range is only provided by small time independant farmers.

Theres absolutely no denying people eat too much meat from a health perspective. Humans are obviously designed to eat it, and need a certain amount of protein, but we aren't designed to have it as the predominant part of every meal three meals a day. From an economical perspective, you could feed far more people for less money with 6 achres of vegetable garden, than you could by putting an appropriate amount of cows or pigs or sheep on that land.

Did you know that meats only have to be *labelled* in this country to be defined legally as British? Thats pretty f**ked in my opinion.

Hey it tastes good - and as long as its not diseased or anything...

Free range eggs is something i am strict on, i will never, ever buy eggs from caged and tortured (as i call them) hens

Unless its in a ready made sarnie

I used to work in McDs...

Apparently... the only reason they have the pickle in a cheesburger (which everyone hates) is because otherwise they'd have so much sugar proportionaly that'd they'd be classified as a sweet by the EU.

I hate McDonalds and would prefer to go hungry for a while than support the mega-corporation.

I wonder if anyone will actually make that stuff at home? Reading those recipes is surely enough to put anyone off!

LOL, I find this discussion while informative futile and niave.

No matter what you say, altho you are all entitled to your opinion. Non of the comments above will make a difference to the world or peoples eating habits.

They were recipes for gods sake not the slaying of small children in a distant country that cant fend for themselves. And please dont come back with "oh, the poor animals cant fend for themselves either" because we've all heard it before!

We all eat want we want to. It's our own choice. Pushing beliefs or agricultural facts within the thread wont make a difference.

There I have had my rant now

So whats for tea?

I bet there was a time back in the days when they first started

that there food was v high quality!

but obviously its all about money, money makes the world go round!
