hi,
On the Windows XP support page I found Events and Errors
search available for Windows XP Professional but not for
Windows XP. I have several error ID's I would like to look
up and while XP professional is close, anybody who has
tried to diagnose a system problem knows that "close"
doesn't mean squat.
I need references on:
System Errors:
Event ID:
7026, 10005, 7000, 7023, 7001
Application Errors:
Event ID:
4353, 4356, 8193, 4609, 1517
I have a HP pavilion 304w with windows XP and just did a
HP system restore. Windows XP is now barely functional
ie: progams hang, simple commands hang, can't print,
problems getting on line and staying online, MSDOS window
opens every few minutes...I know how to do a "selective
startup" but I need all the info I can get on these errors
before I proceed. Please send me an E-mail with some info.
P.S. My ISP filters malicious mail and I scan it before
opening so spammers and virus punks don't waste your time!
